VerifyNow is delighted to announce the appointment of Jeremy Cade as the organisation’s Chief Technology Officer. Jeremy will be working closely with CEO Khai Ngo on the delivery of the next evolution of the VerifyNow platform.
The new VerifyNow solution is being built from the ground up with a customer centric approach informing every stage of the process. Jeremy is leading a team of engineers in this development with a focus on improved service delivery, an excellent user experience and integrations with relevant background screening and HR platforms partners.
VerifyNow CEO Khai Ngo said Jeremy Cade’s focus as CTO will be strategic in nature to help achieve the company’s long-term goals.
“Jeremy will play a leadership role in providing the technology direction and business strategy to meet key business objectives. He’ll also be focused on building and scaling the engineering team.”
Over the last 20 years Jeremy has played an integral role in the design, delivery and scaling of Software based projects and Engineering teams across numerous fields. His expertise spans software engineering (Distributed Systems and Machine Learning), business intelligence and competitor analysis; and strategic and operational execution of go to market (GTM) strategies.
He holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Information Technology, majoring in Machine Learning & Software Engineering from Griffith University, and was a member of the Machine Intelligence and Pattern Analysis Laboratory (MiPAL). Jeremy is an Australian Computer Society (ACS) Senior Member and Certified Professional.
More recent projects have included:
- Octopus Deploy: Assisted with the migration of customers to Octopus Cloud, a SaaS version of the product. He also built and launched the growth team to focus on driving trials and sign ups.
- VALD Performance: Built athlete monitoring systems used across all major professional sports globally (including both the AFL & NRL in Australia, along with all major American sports organisations e.g. NBA, NFL, MLB).
- Lup Events: Developed event management, live ticketing, data capture and distribution systems used across 1000’s of events in all regions of Australia (pre-pandemic).
In both the VALD Performance and Lup Events projects Jeremy was not only the Lead Software Engineer , but was also responsible for building and scaling the respective engineering teams locally and globally.
Prior to his appointment as CTO, Mr Cade was previously on VerifyNow’s advisory board and has witnessed the growth of the company. He’s now stepping into an operational and strategic role to continue pushing the development of the new platform to help more organisations build a trusted workforce.
